Waterproof Epoxy Grout
Veromaxx epoxy grout is a premium two-part epoxy resin joint filler engineered for tile installations that demand permanent waterproofing and stain resistance. Whether the project is a residential kitchen, a hotel bathroom, a swimming pool or a commercial food-service floor, Veromaxx epoxy grout delivers joints that stay watertight, clean-looking and structurally sound for the life of the installation.
What is Veromaxx Epoxy Grout?
Not all grout is created equal. Standard cement-based grout is porous, absorbs water and staining agents, and progressively degrades under water exposure and cleaning-chemical contact. Epoxy grout is engineered differently – the cured epoxy matrix is essentially non-porous, chemically inert, and mechanically stronger than the tile it surrounds.
Veromaxx epoxy grout uses a modern, low-VOC epoxy formulation that gives the applicator extended pot life (up to an hour at 27°C) without sacrificing final chemical resistance.
Stronger Than Traditional Cement Mortar
Available in a full colour palette so the grout works with any tile choice, from bright ivory to deep charcoal, and everything in between.

How to Mix & Apply Epoxy Grout
Follow this verified 4-step execution protocol to ensure a 100% void-free ceramic floor installation.
Ensure the tile adhesive has cured for minimum 24 hours. Clean all joints of dust and loose material.
Combine the pre-measured resin and hardener components - do not use partial quantities. Mix with a low-speed drill and paddle for 2-3 minutes until colour is uniform.
Gradually add the filler powder while mixing until you have a smooth, workable, non-slumping paste. Do not add water.
Apply with a hard rubber grouting float at 45° to the tile surface. Press firmly to fill each joint completely, working diagonally.
Remove excess grout immediately with the float held at 90°, again working diagonally. Move quickly - epoxy grout becomes very difficult to remove after 30 minutes.
After 15-20 minutes, clean the tile surface with a damp sponge in circular motions. Rinse the sponge frequently. Two or three passes are typical.
24 hours later, polish the tile surface with a clean, dry cloth to remove any final epoxy haze.

Epoxy Grout Drying & Curing Time
Light foot traffic can begin 24 hours after grouting. Full mechanical strength and chemical resistance develop over 7 days. Keep joints free of standing water and aggressive cleaning chemicals during this curing period. Cool weather (below 20°C) extends cure time — allow additional days.
Epoxy Grout Safety Information & Handling
Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses during mixing and application. Avoid skin contact with uncured components — wash immediately with soap and water on contact. Use in a well-ventilated area. Full MSDS available on request. Once cured, the grout is chemically inert and safe for food-contact areas.

Is epoxy grout actually better than regular grout?
For any wet area, high-traffic area, or premium finish, yes – significantly better. Epoxy grout is waterproof, stain-resistant, chemical-resistant and mechanically stronger than cement grout. Cement grout absorbs water, stains within months and starts to fail within a few years in wet areas. The upfront cost is higher; the lifetime cost is lower.
Can epoxy grout handle extreme temperature changes?
Yes. Veromaxx epoxy grout has a service temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and handles the daily thermal cycling typical of North Indian conditions without cracking or losing bond. This makes it a strong choice for exterior tile applications and areas near heat sources like commercial kitchen equipment.
Does epoxy grout hold up well for outdoor tiles?
Yes – epoxy grout outperforms cement grout for outdoor use because it does not absorb rainwater, does not efflorescence, and resists UV degradation. For balconies, terraces, exterior floors and façade cladding in North Indian weather conditions, epoxy grout is the correct specification.
Which performs better - epoxy grout or cement grout?
Epoxy grout outperforms cement grout on every technical measure: waterproofing (epoxy < 0.5% water absorption vs cement typically 5-8%), compressive strength, chemical resistance, colour retention, and lifespan. Cement grout still has a role for economical dry-area installations where these properties are not critical, but for wet areas, high-traffic and premium projects, epoxy grout is the correct choice.
What is the right mixing ratio for epoxy grout?
Veromaxx epoxy grout is supplied as a pre-measured kit – the resin, hardener and filler quantities are calibrated for optimal cure. Do not use partial quantities or attempt to modify the ratio; incorrect ratios lead to under-cure, colour variation and reduced chemical resistance. Always mix a full kit.
